What to expect:

A range of evidence-based therapeutic models, both individual and systemic, will be drawn upon to provide thorough assessment and interventions based on a comprehensive formulation of the difficulties. Dr Naira Wilson and the associates in the team have a range of expertise and additional specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, (CBT) Systemic Family Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Third wave psychological treatments including Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused (CFT) models -which are used to individually tailor the assessment and treatment to the needs of the client.

Reviews and follow ups will be provided as part of assessing the progress of the work. If through the course of the work it is deemed that further detailed and multidisciplinary assessment and treatment may be required, we will refer to the appropriate services with the relevant reports and recommendations. This is not a crisis management service so any acute risks will be referred to CAMHS.
